How To Play Would You Rather Game (The “Rules”)

Before we start the countdown of our 100+ Would You Rather questions for kids, let’s quickly go over the rules. It’s a simple game to play. All you really need to do is ask your children the questions.

You can either split the questions and ask each child different questions or you can ask the same question to every child. The latter option can be more fun because if children disagree on the answer it can lead to some fierce debating between kids! 

• The great thing about this game is that there are no real rules! There are, however, a few guidelines you can follow to make the game more enjoyable and keep it moving if you are more competitive.
• The first player begins with either asking another player or stating his own would-you-rather question. The choice is up to them. They will choose one of two options they have been given and state it as a “would you rather question.”
• The next player then states which choice they would prefer and why. This is where the creativity comes in! They must explain their answer with the reasoning behind their preference, even if that reasoning sounds silly or outlandish to others. After providing an explanation, the other players vote on which answer they would prefer.
• Once everyone has voted, the results are tallied and announced. The player that gave the most popular choice wins a point! Keep playing until someone reaches a predetermined number of points or time runs out for your game session.
