My kids love scavenger hunts. We drove around for 2 hours doing the Christmas light scavenger hunt the week before Christmas, and they are itching for another one already. They love running around searching for all the things on the list and crossing them out.

How the New Year’s Eve Scavenger Hunt Works

There are a couple of ways to play the New Year’s Eve scavenger hunt.

First, print out the scavenger hunt. I recommend printing them on cardstock or even laminating them if you have younger kids to make the printable more durable.

Then, ensure that you have all the items on the scavenger hunt at your house. If you don’t have a noisemaker for New Year’s Eve, make sure you check out how to make one here. Your kids will love decorating it and making lots of noise to bring in the new year!

If you are finding that you don’t have the majority of the items on the scavenger hunt, don’t fret! Simply print out an additional copy of the scavenger hunt and cut out all the rectangles with the picture and name of the items. Then tape them all over the house for your kids to find!

Whether your kids are out finding real-life clues or cards that you printed out, this New Year’s eve activity will for sure be a hit!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
